Description

The Reactor Experiment for Neutrinos and Exotics (RENE) is designed to detect sterile neutrinos using a gadolinium-loaded liquid scintillator (Gd-LS) detector. Optical photons are detected by two 20-inch photomultiplier tubes (PMTs). To evaluate the detector response, energy calibration was performed using various radioactive sources, including 137Cs. 60Co, 252Cf, and Others. In this presentation, we report on the calibration procedure, detector response, and results.
