Description

Next-generation neutrino oscillation experiments such as the Deep Underground Neutrino Experiment require percent-level knowledge of neutrino-nucleon interaction cross sections. The Electron-Ion Collider and future nuclear collider has the capability of selecting certain spin and isospin state with controlled incident particle energy. Given that, there are a few ways to constrain a few key interaction parameters at the nuclear colliders such as EIC, including things such as form factor and the 2p2h strength. In this talk, I can go through a few possibilities and discuss the potential of utilizing the next-generation nuclear detector data to constrain the neutrino interaction modeling.
