Recommended Hotels

October is a particularly busy travel season in Seoul, with many local festivals and other events taking place throughout the city. Hotel rooms therefore tend to sell out earlier than at other times of the year, and hotels generally do not offer room blocks for individual events.

We strongly recommend making your reservation as early as possible. Please also note that the rates shown on the reservation forms or provided for NNN26 participants may not be the lowest available rates, as hotel prices vary depending on the booking date and platform. We recommend comparing rates across different booking options before making your reservation.

We recommend hotels in two areas of Seoul that offer convenient access to Chung-Ang University. The hotels listed below are examples selected with accessibility and value for money in mind. Of course, there are many other options in these areas, ranging from more upscale hotels to more practical accommodations, depending on your travel style and preferences.

Near National Assembly Station:
 
The conference venue, Chung-Ang University (Seoul Campus), is conveniently accessible via Seoul Subway Line 9. We recommend staying near National Assembly Station (국회의사당역), where direct subway access to the university is available without transfers.

Transportation to Chung-Ang University Take Seoul Subway Line 9 to Heukseok Station. Exit the station and take Local Bus 5511 from the bus stop just outside the station. Get off at Chung-Ang University Back Gate. The conference venue, Art Center (Building 301), is located just inside the back gate. Total travel time is approximately 20–25 minutes. You may enjoy either walking from Heukseok Station to the venue or taking a bus without additional charge. ( If you are not yet familiar with the Korean public transportation system, 10-minute walking this section may be the simplest option.)

Transportation to Chung-Ang University (BUS Access) From the Seoul Station / Yongsan Station area, take BUS 501 or 506 to Sangdo Tunnel–Sangdo-dong (상도터널·상도동). From the bus stop, walk to the back gate of Chung-Ang University. Alternatively, if you arrive at Sangdo Station (Subway Line 7), take Dongjak Village Bus 01 (동작01) from near Exit 5 and get off at Chung-Ang University Back Gate (중앙대후문). The conference venue, Art Center (Building 301), is located just inside the back gate of the campus. Total travel time from the recommended Seoul Station / Yongsan hotel area is typically 35–45 minutes, depending on traffic. You may enjoy either walking from Sando Station to the venue or taking a bus without additional charge. ( If you are not yet familiar with the Korean public transportation system, 10-minute walking this section may be the simplest option.)
