Description
We study resonant non-Abelian vector dark matter in an $SU(2)_X$ $\times U(1)_{Z'}$ gauge theory broken by a quintuplet dark Higgs field. The resulting gauge-boson mass spectrum naturally realizes a neutral mediator close to twice the dark matter mass, leading to velocity-dependent resonant annihilation in a WIMP-like scenario.
We calculate dark matter annihilation into Standard Model fermions, $(W^+W^-)$, $(hZ)$, and dark-Higgs final states.
The Standard Model channels are suppressed away from resonance but can be enhanced at Milky Way velocities. This behavior may provide a halo gamma-ray signal while alleviating constraints from dwarf galaxies. We also discuss the relic-density calculation and the importance of thermal averaging near the neutral-mediator resonances.
