Description
After the first detection of coherent elastic neutrino-nucleus scattering (CEνNS) using reactor antineutrinos in the fully coherent regime in 2025, the CONUS+ experiment continued its measurements. Between the just mentioned Run-1 data and the latest Run-2 measurement, three of the four 1 kg germanium detectors were upgraded to 2.4 kg of active volume, which provide similar or even better noise performance. This results in a significant improvement in sensitivity, not only to the CEνNS cross section but also to the weak mixing angle sin²ϴ at low momentum transfer, probing the electroweak sector in a regime complementary to collider experiments.
This talk gives an overview of the measurement runs performed, focusing on the detector performance, analysis strategy, and latest physics results from the most recent campaign.
