T-money Card
We recommend purchasing a T-money card at a convenience store upon arrival at the airport.
- Load the card with cash and use it to pay for subways, buses, and most taxis throughout Korea.
- Transfers between buses and subways are seamless. Within the transfer limit, your fare is calculated based on the total travel distance rather than the number of transfers.
- The card can also be used at most convenience stores and many T-money affiliated cafés and shops.
- We recommend loading KRW 30,000–50,000 initially. You can easily recharge the card at convenience stores or subway stations.
- Before leaving Korea, you can receive a refund for the remaining balance (the card purchase price is non-refundable).
From Incheon International Airport
We recommend taking the AREX (Airport Railroad Express) to Seoul Station first, and then taking a taxi from Seoul Station to your hotel or final destination. This is generally a simple and reliable option, especially after a long international flight.
Airport limousine buses also connect Incheon Airport directly with several of our recommended hotel areas. They can be convenient if your hotel is located close to a limousine bus stop. However, if you are traveling with large or multiple pieces of luggage, we generally recommend the AREX + taxi option, as it minimizes walking and transfers after reaching central Seoul.

- GLAD Yeouido: Bus 6007, get off at National Assembly (Glad Hotel).
- Comfort Inn Yeouido: Bus 6007, get off at Kensington Hotel.
- Oakwood Yeouido Park Seoul: Bus 6007, get off at National Assembly Station and walk about 3 minutes.
- Nine Tree Premier ROKAUS Hotel Seoul Yongsan: Bus 6001, get off at Sinyongsan Station and walk about 4 minutes.
- Hotel the Designers Seoul Station: Bus 6001, get off at Sookmyung Women's Univ. Station.
- Seoul Station Raum 169: Bus 6001, get off at Seoul Station and walk to the hotel.
Alternatively, you may take the AREX All-Stop Train and transfer to Seoul Subway Line 9 at Gimpo International Airport or Magongnaru Station if your destination is along Line 9
