Description

The IceCube Neutrino Observatory is the largest Cherenkov neutrino telescope in operation. Located deep in the Antarctic ice sheet at the South Pole, IceCube has been operating in its full configuration for over 15 years. With its low-energy extension, DeepCore, the detector has produced precision measurements of neutrino oscillations and stringent limits on new physics. During the last Pole season, the detector was upgraded with the installation of additional strings hosting novel optical modules and a suite of calibration devices. In this talk, I will discuss the latest results from DeepCore, projections for the impact of the Upgrade on selected analyses, and an early look at data from the upgraded detector.
